New Blue trout Seconds, Most of these dont have the crystal development that the first quality fish do. Some have tiny chips on the bottom that can not be seen when displayed in the gardens.
All "2nds" have small defects on one side or the bottom of the fish. These small chips, cracks or glaze defects are usually smaller than 2" and are rarely visable when the fish are installed in a garden setting and do not effect the durability of the fish. Most of the smaller cracks happen when the ceramic fish are drying but are not visible until the fish are fired to 2,200F degrees.
