Trout seconds review...

Posted by Bill Gentry

Just got my "Trout second" and can't for the life of me find the defect. It's beautiful and I'll likely get a few more to create a "school" for my garden. going to create a dry creekbed to place them in...beautiful product.

Fish for Creek

I bought some fish a few month ago and now I am adding more to the creek..they are really nice and make the creek look great.

Seconds are the way to go!

These are lovely and so whimsical. They look great (much bigger than I expected which was a good thing) but I hesitated to buy because of the cost!! I took a chance on the Seconds and was not disappointed. Once installed you can't notice the small cracks at the bottom of the fish. This was a gift so I'll probably be back for some more for my own garden. Also quick ship! Thanks!

New Blue trout Seconds, Most of these dont have the crystal development that the first quality fish do. Some have tiny chips on the bottom that can not be seen when displayed in the gardens.

All "2nds" have small defects on one side or the bottom of the fish. These small chips, cracks or glaze defects are usually smaller than 2" and are rarely visable when the fish are installed in a garden setting and do not effect the durability of the fish. Most of the smaller cracks happen when the ceramic fish are drying but are not visible until the fish are fired to 2,200F degrees.  All fish on the Sale page are non returnable- as sales final.  - Garden rods included, look best in schools of 3 or more.

-18" L x 8" H " x 5 "W   - When measured along the center line, with some variation due to the handmade nature of the fish.
